Some people think that when you open your mind to spirituality, real spirituality, not organized religion, that your life will be sunshine, lollipops and rainbows.
Shout out to Leslie Gore.
And eventually it will be.
Don’t get me wrong, and don’t let me discourage you, but until you can unpack your emotional baggage an get rid of all the negativity, most of which was put in there by friends and family anyway, it’s going to be a rough time.
Remember when you were young and stupid, and you used to get blackout drunk every weekend? I mean so drunk that you would fall down on the lawn and have to hold on to the grass to keep from falling off the planet?
Anybody? OK, maybe it was just me, but work with me here.
When you wake up the next day with a hangover so bad you wish you had fallen off the planet?
If you had that experience, then you kind of know what it feels like to wake up, look outside the matrix, and realize nearly everything you’ve ever been taught or told is an absolute lie put into your consciousness to control you by people that seemed like they cared about you but actually didn’t.
From the government to educators to religious leaders to you parents, family and friends.
Once that awakening hits, it’s like a bad hangover. You feel sick, heart sick anyway. It’s a very unpleasant feeling.
But the good news is, once you work through all the bullshit, and realize you are directly connected to the entire universe through your spirit guide, which is the 90% of you that stays on the other side while you incarnate, things do start to get better.
It still may not seem that everything is coming up sunshine, Santa Claus and roses, (shout out to Ethel Merman,) but things will begin to look better.
You know the old saying: when you start to look at things differently, the things you are looking at will change as well.
So here’s the really uncomfortable part of this conversation you have to have with yourself: how do you envision a supreme being? What is your idea of God?
The reason this question is so difficult is that the vengeful, punishing God that has been used by organized religion to keep people enslaved for thousands of years has been so ingrained in us that we’re afraid to even think about it.
We might go to hell when we die if we dare to question.
Which only proves that the fear instilled by organized religion as a control mechanism works.
It’s genius, in fact, because the very questioning of religious teaching is such a sin that it can provoke said God into sending you to hell.
That’s why organized religion has been around so long. Fear works.
It works so well that it’s used by governments the world over to achieve the same enslavement of the populace.
But I digress.
Let me tell you what I know to be true about the structure of the universe.
There is no heaven or hell. There is no vengeful, punishing god in the form of an old white man sitting on a throne somewhere in outer space. There are no devil or demons causing you to do bad things and stealing your soul.
The universe is just us.
An infinite number of beings in an infinite number of forms controlling the entire universe by a collective will.
We are not inherently evil, or “born in sin.”
All of that crap, and I do mean crap, comes from a book of bronze age folk tales that has caused more harm than good over the ages. And continues to cause harm today.
I’m sure I lost some of you over my definition of “god”, so I encourage you search your heart and mind and find your own definition.
If you truly think about it and agree with everything organized religion teaches, then OK. At least you took the time to mull over everything that’s been hammered into your head.
If you find, as I did, that none of it sounds right anymore, then the universe is waiting to embrace you with open arms.
And because the matrix is falling away, it’s a wonderful time to be alive and have access to all that the internet can provide.
I recommend TikTok as a source of good information. There’s a reason they’re trying to ban it, and it has nothing to do with “national security”.
No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, it’s getting easier and easier to move forward to a new awakening outside of the matrix.
Don’t stop dreaming about tomorrow. Shout out to Fleetwood Mac.
As always, I wish you love and light.
Thank you! It's like money in politics...who benefits? Who benefits from keeping people living in fear of god and hell? Religion. It keeps the faithful coming to church and bringing their offerings. It is of no benefit to the people to live in constant fear. But we've been groomed since childhood to live in that fear. Much love and light on your continuing journey!
David, Thank you for this, I believe your entire premise. I have not always been able to let go. The notion of eternal damnation has been drummed into
my head for 70 years.
