If I’ve heard it once I’ve heard it a thousand times from Jasper…the Earth is just a giant amusement park and you’re only there to play the available games.
As time has gone on, knowing that he is incapable of lying, I’ve come to accept that as a fundamental truth. We really don’t have any grand purpose in coming here to live out an earth life.
We’re here to experience the things that are only available here, chiefly endings, time and negative emotions.
But we love to play the martyr role because it makes us feel oh so special. We think we’re here to make the world a better place, and if we don’t, we’ve failed not only ourselves but the entirety of the human race.
Get over yourself.
We are here to have “fun”, though the definition of that is wildly variable, and see what horrific things we can survive while we’re here.
The world is what it is. We come here from a place of perfection to play in imperfection, so why would we want to make this place perfect? We might as well stay home.
There was a country song by Faith Hill a few years ago called The Secret of Life, and one line was, “the secret of life is a good cup of coffee”, and that is the literal truth. It’s not more complicated than that.
You’re here to enjoy yourself in whatever ways you choose, and then take the feeling of surviving this shitshow home after you “die” to figure out what you want to do different next time.
That’s the secret of life.
For a long time, I believed, (because I was taught this), that I was here to expand my soul, to reach for perfection. Soul growth, it’s called. And it’s still believed and taught by a large segment of the spiritual community.
But, as Jasper is only too happy to point out, he is perfect as he is, and because I’m a small piece of him, I am also perfect, and I come here from a place of perfection. There is no such thing as soul growth. Let me say it again for the crowd in the cheap seats: WE ARE ALL PERFECT AS WE ARE.
Let that mess with your mind for a while.
If you were raised in an organized religion, your brain will be tying itself in knots over this simple fact because you were taught that people were full of sin and could never be perfect.
Believing you are a perfect being would be sacrilege or blasphemy or one of those things. I can never keep them straight.
So give yourself some time to work through that thought process. It only took me 11 years to be at a place where I could begin to understand it.
In the meantime, Jasper has laid out 6 rules for working with your guide that he thinks will be very helpful once you get to the understanding that your guide can help you, but only at the spiritual level you have reached.
Don’t limit yourself. Your desires can be as big as the universe.
Don’t paint yourself into a corner. Keep your options open.
Don’t set deadlines. Your guide doesn’t work in linear time.
Keep focused on what you want, and your guide will do the same.
There is more than one way to do anything. Let your guide bring you what they want in the way they choose, not the way you think it should be.
Don’t nag. Your guide only needs to hear what you want one time. They don’t forget.
Hope this has been helpful. I know it’s a lot to think about, but these are very important and basic concepts, so work through them.
And don’t be afraid to ask your guide for help!
As always, I wish you love and light.
